During this course, the student will learn the basics of yoga asana, pranayama, and meditation. We will discuss the anatomy of the body as it relates to yoga so that students can understand what muscles are being used in each asana and how they can help their future students. Students will learn about the business of yoga as well. Teaching methodology will be discussed and students will learn how to observe others bodies in order to gently correct their postures. We will also learn about subtle energy anatomy including chakras, nadis, and kundalini.
